In Contempt is a classic rock 'n' soul band, known for its soulful, energetic performances, a tight, in-the-pocket groove and a repertoire of all those great Classic Rock, Soul and Motown songs that make you want to dance and groove. We perform songs by The Temptations, The Four Tops, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Cee Lo Green, The Doobie Brothers, Eddie Money, Santana, Ray Charles, James Brown and many, many more.

Though based in San Pedro, our members come from diverse backgrounds, both musically and geographically. From East Coast to West Coast, Midwest to The South, from Rock, Blues, Jazz, Soul and R&B, each member brings their own unique and extensive musical experience to In Contempt.

We love performing and sharing this music, but most of all we want everybody to have a great time!
